In this context, the rights and freedoms of women occupy a vital place in any society. This issue requires attention not only in a single country, but on a global scale.
Torture is considered as one of the most concerning issues globally, and despite a numerous dedicated international legal documents on human rights, this domain remains within the scope of focus of the world community.
Yesterday, an international conference on the theme "Human Rights - an Important Factor in the Sustainable Development of Countries" dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the institution of the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) took place in the capital city.
The issue of ensuring human rights does not lose its relevance, regardless of whether a person is at large or serving a sentence. Convicts and prisoners also have certain rights established by law.
