Members of the commission studied the personal documents of inmates involved in economic activities in remand prisons and interviewed them.
Under article 102¹ of the Penal Enforcement Code, the commission is composed of members of the public, usually deputies of local councils of peoples' deputies, regional representatives of the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman), representatives of citizens'
self-governance bodies and voluntary organizations with life experience and authority among the population.
In conclusion, on the transition of convicts to the path of correction, special attention was paid to their conscientious attitude to work, fulfillment of established labor standards, interest in study and vocational training, participation in cultural and educational events organized in penitentiary institutions.
Such criteria as the inmates' compliance with the internal regulations established in the institution, applicable incentives and non-application of disciplinary penalties were also considered.
On the part of the commission the conclusion on revealing the degree of correction of the convicted person was formalized.
