The guests noted that Uzbekistan's experience in ensuring women's rights and the results achieved are worthy of recognition, and expressed a desire to learn more about these reforms. They also showed great interest in the role of the Ombudsman institution in ensuring human rights, and were familiarized with the process of handling appeals.

Columbia University graduate students Ananya Mukherjee, Narueporn Lertvitavaschai and Daniela Rancano Botaya praised the measures aimed at ensuring gender equality in our country and strengthening the legal framework for the protection of women from violence and providing them with comprehensive support.

At the meeting, they discussed the procedure for handling women's appeals to the Ombudsman, as well as projects aimed at raising their legal awareness.

In the end of the meeting, which was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, a team of graduate students from Columbia University noted that they would use the information obtained during the meeting in their scientific research.
