Trade unions work in cooperation with the Ombudsman
It is known that on November 9, 2022, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) and the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.

During the signing of the memorandum, the parties noted that the memorandum would help establish strong partnerships and protect the socio-economic rights of citizens not only between central organizations, but also regional representatives of the Ombudsman in the regions and territorial councils of the Federation of Trade Unions.

Based on the above, on November 19, 2022, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Regional Representative of the Authorized Person for Human Rights in the Samarkand region and the Regional Council of the Federation of Trade Unions.

At the event, it was noted that the main goals and objectives of both organizations are the protection of the socio-economic rights and interests of citizens, including workers, and, accordingly, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation will bring the implementation of the main goals and objectives to a new level.

Diyor Khusanov, Regional Representative of the Authorized Person for Human Rights in Samarkand region noted:

- If individuals turn to us for help in restoring violated rights, citizens working in a certain labor team turn to trade unions. As you can see, both organizations are equally responsible for restoring the rights of citizens. Therefore, we agreed to jointly solve the existing problems of labor rights by establishing our activities in cooperation, and to carry out preventive measures. The same issues were officially fixed in the memorandum signed today.
