This conference was attended by the Ombudsmen and heads of national institutions of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Denmark and Moldova, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Special Representative of the European Union, the Director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Center, the Deputy Head of the OSCE Secretariat, representatives of the parliaments of foreign states and other high-ranking guests.

The main purpose of organizing the event is to strengthen cooperation between the Ombudsmen and national and international institutions with experience in the field of human rights.

Also at the event, a discussion took place on promising areas of cooperation between the Ombudsmen and the National Institutions for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms at the regional level, taking into account the changes taking place in the world.

During the visit, the Ombudsmen of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Denmark and Moldova also met with the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.
